This installation, Hideout, was created for a one-night exhibition and performance event at 29025 Eveningside in Val Verde, CA, May 2007. I was interested in the temporary conflation of an art space with a domestic space, and chose to reinterpret the living room of the house/gallery by reconfiguring the furniture and architecture typically found in the location. Over the course of the evening visitors to the event chose to use the space in different ways.
